چکیده
Paris polyphylla Sm. is a vulnerable medicinal plant distributed in the Himalayan countries. This has numerous pharmacological benefits, including anticancer, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. The distribution, conservation status, traditional usage of this species are fairly known Nepal. However, its diversity population structure at molecular level unexplored. study analyzes, genetic 32 P. germplasms collected from Central, Eastern Western regions Nepal using 15 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers. All SSR primers were polymorphic amplified 60 alleles ranging 50 bp to 900 bp. information content (PIC) value ranged 0 0.75. average observed heterozygosity (Ho), expected (He), Shannon's index (I), total (Ht) 0.63, 0.53, 0.92 0.32, respectively. variance (AMOVA) analysis, showed maximum variation 74% within individual only 26% among population. In STRUCTURE analysis two clusters formed where (EN) separated far Central (CWN), clustering was complete correspondence unweighted pair group method based on arithmetic (UPGMA) principle coordinate (PCoA) analysis. Furthermore, UPGMA PCoA, same or relatively similar geographic origin closer. These findings critical for developing policies, facilitating evolutionary research, sustainable utilization commercial cultivation pharmacologically important threatened species.

Genetic Diversity and Population Structure of Iranian tulips revealed by EST-SSR and NBS-LRR Markers
The genus Tulipa L. (Liliaceae) comprises about 100 species and Iran is considered as one of the main origins of tulips. In this research, genetic diversity and population structure of 27 wild populations of tulips collected from Iran were studied by 15 highly polymorphic and reproducible expressed sequenced tag-simple sequence repeat (EST-SSR) markers and 8 nucleotide binding site (NBS)-enzyme...
متن کاملGenetic diversity of Paecilomyces variotii isolates by SSR marker in Kerman province, Iran
Die-back disease caused by Paecilomyces variotti is one of the most destructive diseases of pistachio in Iran. In this study, genetic diversity of Paecilomyces variotti isolates was investigated with SSR marker, using six primers pairs. Sampling was done from pistachio gardens in different geographical zones of Kerman province during summer 2013. Various fungal isolates were isolated from infec...
متن کاملGenetic diversity of Iranian melon cultigens revealed by AFLP markers
Iran is a part of the secondary centre of origin of melons, and therefore, there is a wealth of genetic variation of these species in this country. The Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) marker was applied to investigate the genetic variations among five major Iranian melon cultigens (Cucumis melo) and ‘Ananasi’ as a general well-known cultivar. Ten primer pairs were used on 90 indiv...
متن کاملGenetic diversity and relationships among traits in potato genotypes using agronomic traits and molecular marker (SSR).
The molecular marker (SSR) has been used to investigate the markers associated with the agronomic traits including days to 50% flowering, tube ring time, days to maturity, plant height, the number of main stems per plant, the number of tubers per plant, dry matter content, main stem diameter, a single tuber weight, average single tuber weight, and the total yield in potato genotypes. Ten primer...
متن کاملAssessment of Genetic Diversity and Population Genetic Structure of Corylus mandshurica in China Using SSR Markers
Corylus mandshurica, also known as pilose hazelnut, is an economically and ecologically important species in China. In this study, ten polymorphic simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were applied to evaluate the genetic diversity and population structure of 348 C. mandshurica individuals among 12 populations in China. The SSR markers expressed a relatively high level of genetic diversity (Na =...
